No lobby and no base packing = no casual play. Also, the tile burn was one of the most innovative and great features in any games of this genre, removing it was a bad idea. You need an exponential decay, not an exponential growth, on economic growth with progression, and then maybe you can stop wiping and actually make this the persistent mmo it was promised to be. This is the objectively wrong way to design a PVP mmo, and is why constant wipes are needed. The biggest long term problem i don't see mentioned with last oasis is that the economy is designed completely as an ARK style survival game, where resource gathering potential exponentially increases as you progress through the game. ![]() Keep the few interesting ones like storms, the harder pve (not including maintenance), but everything else really just has to be pushed back to how it was. But in the end, most of the changes need to be ripped out, tossed in the trash. Maybe experimenting was worth demoralizing the playerbase.
